Aims & Objectives

Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry's standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.

It gives me a great pleasure to introduce LEAF (Learning Edge Armed Forces) as an immaculate institute with the endeavour of transforming and motivating cadets to join the armed forces of India as officers. The institute with a regime of discipline and dedication is imparting training and inculcating the ethos and traditions of the Armed Forces. I wish them all the success in their efforts.

Brig. Harcharan Singh, VSM

Learning Edge Armed Forces is one of the very few organized institutes that focuses on training, molding and preparing young minds, to be the future officers of the Defense Forces of India. They have a highly qualified faculty in place, which is ideally suited for the present generation to pursue their studies while they prepare for the entrance exams of the defense forces. The administrative facilities at LEAF are par excellence and I would strongly recommend all aspiring candidates to make use of this opportunity. I wish Team LEAF the best of luck and success in their endeavor

Formed in 1966, the Para Commandos are part of the highly-trained Parachute Regiment of the Indian Army and are the largest part of the Special Forces of India. The parachute units of the Indian Army are among the oldest airborne units in the world. The main aim of a Parachute Regiment is quick deployment of soldiers behind enemy lines to attack the enemy from behind and destroy their first line of defence.

(Marine Commandos), is a special force unit that was raised by the Indian Navy in 1987 for direct action, special reconnaissance, amphibious warfare and counter-terrorism. The training of MARCOS is probably the most stringent in the world with the commandos being tested for physical and mental toughness.

True to its name ghatak (which means ‘killer’ in Hindi), this infantry platoon goes for the kill and spearheads strikes ahead of a battalion. Every infantry battalion in the Indian Army has one platoon and only the most physically fit and motivated soldiers make it to the Ghatak Platoon.

Formed in 2004, the Garud Commando Force is a special force unit of the Indian Air Force. The training for being a Garud is the longest among all the Indian Special Forces. The total duration of training before a trainee can qualify as a fully operational Garud is around 3 years.
